It's Chong Peng. I am writing to share with you my testimony that this has been the Best Year thus far!

About a year ago, I was at the lowest point in my career. I was impatient at work, often losing my cool with my staff. Came to a point where some of them complained to HR and my boss and as a result, I was removed from my position. I am very blessed to have a very VP who is my boss's boss. She managed my exit from the department with grace and gave me a new role as a project manager reporting directly to her.

At that point I felt very discouraged. But in the following next few months, I went through a molding process by God. It is like what you preached in one of your sermons that God "deals" with His people to prepare them for bigger things and for His purpose. I was humbled by that thought that God so loved me that He would change me for he has bigger plans for me!

About that same time, you also prayed for me then that I "will be promoted" when you visited us for dinner last year. I was encouraged but thought it was impossible then:)

As I started my new job, while going through the molding by God, I began to see changes around me. I have more joy working with people. People appreciated me more and I was beginning to exert more Influence on those around me and the organisation. God granted me favour among my colleagues and bosses!

A husband-and-wife-team missionary friends visited us around Christmas last year. The husband prophesized that I will be promoted and that I will be able to accomplish more with less!

You also started this year by proclaiming that this year is the best year in our lives thus far! I claimed it and believed it while holding fast that I will be promoted.

On Wednesday last week, my boss informed me that I have been promoted to the role of Deputy Director! Praise God! It's a miracle, as a year ago, promotion was the last thing on my mind then. God made all things seems impossible, possible!

I have been very blessed indeed and would like to share this testimony with you! That indeed this year is the best year in my life thus far! I pray that God will continue to show me the way and of the plans he has for me!

I attended the Church Camp 2004 at Living Faith Church. Pastor John instructed all campers to bring a list of debts that we wanted to believe God for His providence to cancel the debts. I wrote down the debt from a study loan that I had taken and was believing God to help me clear it in 3 years.

In one of the sessions in the camp, Pastor John led us in prayer and we stood in agreement that the debts be cancelled. I am grateful to God that with His blessings and empowerment, I have repaid that debt in just 10 months. Glory to God!

I am a Hong Kong Christian working in Shanghai. My company sent me to Shanghai to set up a new operation three years ago. By God's grace, we have overcome many hurdles. Yet we couldn't get business from international financial institutions which we expected to be a major source of income.

Amid busy work scheules, I have not been praying as earnestly and regularly as before.

Six months ago, I came to my friend's new office and picked up a book "Praying for your business and job by Pastor John Lim" left by previous tenants. I tried to follow the prayers but not in a very disciplined way. A few weeks ago God spoke to me that I have to pray seriously and regularly. I took the book and followed the prayers.

Thank God His grace is great and always ready for us. Last week we got a client call from Paris. We didn't know this client and he just happend to get my name card. They asked for some urgent services and products and today we just get it done and will receive the payment in a few days.

I believe that God will continue to bless and give prosperity to my business if I submit it to him and pray with a whole heart.

my contract with a company ended abruptly. at that time i was tied down with some commitments thus i couldnt afford to be out of job. After 2 weeks, i got really worried as i didnt have much savings and funds was running out. i remembered Living Faith Church have prayer requests that i could request to be prayed for. Thus i submitted my prayer request and within 1week plus i got a job on the spot of the interview and had 40% increment from my previous pay and it entails me to travel which was wat i prayed for. Dear Pastor, last year I went for a medical checkup and was diagnosed of diabetes and high chloestrol. I prayed over it and requested you to pray too. There was a healing meeting and I attended. God specifically told that He was healing of my sickness. Though I didn't go for another medical check-up, I thank God everyday for his miraculous healing. Today I went for a medical checkup and my results were amazing. My cholestrol and sugar level were within limits and I was given a clean report. I praise the Lord for his miraculous healing. I would like to thank God for His healing power on my daughther, Andrea. By this testimony I want to give all glory, praise and honour to our living God who did not leave nor forsake us. Andrea was running a temperature from 01 Sep. Seen a doctor and under medication. Her fever was hovering around 38.5 - 39.5 for 2 days. On the 2nd night when I returned home and found her to be extremely restless I called the doctor and she suggested sending her to the hospital for observation. She refused and complained that she is very tried and wants to sleep. She is also feeling very cold as temperature is high. We carried her and drove to NUH.

On the make shift tent outside while waiting for the nurse to take her temperature (still at 39.5) I sent a sms to my faith group leader and Pastor Lay Geok. I requested them to pray for Andrea. They did and I can see God's miracle working on her. She started to be more alert and no longer feeling cold. She was sent for test and results did not show anything negative. Doctor examined her and said it was viral infection and to continue with her current medication. Question is she has been on the same medication for 2 full days and fever did not subside. Hence I am convinced that it is God's healing that is upon her. It is the prayer of all the faith group members / pastor and friends who know her. I want to thank God once again for the blessing and protection that is bestowed upon us. May this testimony encourage more all of us to continue our focus on God's goodness regardless of any situation we are in for I have experienced the power of prayer that night. Amen - Jenny Chong

I must tell you that God through your ministry has helped me alot the last years. After working full time and in addition 50% in the church,I got a burnout. I was depressed,started smoking....entered wrong relationships...... I still went to church every week...smelling like a tobaccofarmer. Imagine ...from leader to somebody they pitied in just a short time. God was encouraging me through you all the time ...and also everytime I came to church the message was uplifting. Beginning of this year our faith group had a prayer meeting to commit all biz plans to our Lord. I prayed for breakthrough for a customer which has been a domain customer for several years with my company. 3 months later breakthrough came. The customer gave us a US$1 million worth of order. Company were happy but I know it is our God that make this happened. I am a strong advocate that we should tithe into God's kingdom. Last month my company announced bonus payment and I have 4.4 months bonus and this is one of the biggest bonus that I have received since I was saved. I wanted to give back what God has given me because I know if I cannot handle this small amount God will not be able to bless me with more. I thank God that he will not give me anything that I cannot handle for He knows that my strength is in Him. That includes the moments that my family is going thru now. I came to Bro John's meeting for the first time in late 1995. I had just quit my first job as a kindergarten teacher which paid about $500 a month. Prior to that I had no working experience, having been a housewife for many years. And now, I find myself having to be the sole breadwinner of the family with three dependents, my mother and my two daughters.

I was at Bro. John's meeting, listening intently as I was determined to get my breakthrough. After the meeting, I met Bro. John and he told me that I would do real well in a "PR" job. So from that day, I stopped looking for kindergarten and tutorial jobs and started looking for sales jobs instead. I prayed the same prayer that Bro. John prayed, asking the Lord to position me in a place where my God given talents can be fully utilized. I asked the Lord to give me a job that pays a high basic and high commission and He did.

The Lord gave me favor and after about three months I was earning about ten times my kindergarten pay. That was about five years ago. Now I've been in my present job for about two and a half years and the Lord has continued to sustain me. In fact, He gave me a shortcut to success. Praise the Lord!

Your meetings have been a source of tremendous encouragement and blessing to me. Through your meetings I know beyond a shadow of doubt that God is a good God and that there is no mountain too high that I cannot climb. Hallelujah! In October 1999 the Lord blessed us with a car but it was on maximum financing by the bank. I was not happy to have the loan. In January, you declared that this year is a year of restoration and multiplication. You also urged us to believe God to cancel all our debts. Later, when I returned from the Biblical Success Seminar meeting, I prayed the prayer on Page 67 in your book on Reversing Financial Adversities. I simply believed that what I prayed would come to pass regarding the car. I did not mention this to anyone. On 22nd January, I was handed a letter to be posted to the car finance company by my husband. I was overcome with joy when I was told that it was the full payment for the car. Hallelujah! I help to manage the franchise 7- 11 store for my brother-in-law for seven months since February until August 2000. During the seven months peroid, I exercise my faith believing God to give me a permanent job as Human Resource Manager. I speak the scriptures keys from the Bible such as Ps 2:8, Ps 4:3, Ps 20:4-5, Isa 7:11,Isa 45:11,Mt 21:22,Eph 3:20,etc. for two weeks. I got a job as Human Resource Manager. My brother-in-law, his partners and myself gave up 7-Eleven in end August 2000 due to some internal matters. One organisation had bought over the shares of 7-11. During the handover of the franchise 7-11 outlets ( 7 units), I was told that the new organsation would compensate the franchise staff 4 months salary (total amount $8,000.00) during the hand-over period . Then I went to joined the new company . Recently to my surprise, I receive about $20,000.00 for my compensation. I want to give all Glory to Almighty God for He is good God to me through the whole year of 2000."
