Pastor John was only five years old when his father died. Overnight, his mother together with four young children were plunged into poverty. John Shepherd Lim spent over a decade during his childhood and adolescence in grinding poverty and hardship.

At age sixteen, he was diagnosed with a spinal & bone condition known as spinal bidfida and ankylosing spondylitis when he was sixteen years old. This condition caused him excruciating physical pain whenever he walked.

At age sixteen, Pastor John accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. In a meeting, God supernaturally healed him of the spinal and bone condition. The healing was total and permanent. Since then, he has been leading an active and healthy life.

God began to lead Pastor John to study principles of success from the Bible. Through persistent application of these principles, Pastor John received an undisputed breakthrough from the tormenting cycle of lack and poverty. At the age of twenty-two, he achieved a five-figure monthly income.

At the age of twenty-four, God led him to start his business and a series of financial breakthroughs followed after.

Pastor John speaks in conferences and seminars in various parts of the world. His meetings are characterized by the strong and wonderful presence and anointing of God, evidenced by the numerous testimonies of financial breakthroughs, healing and salvation.

Pastor John enjoys a wonderful marriage relationship with his wife, Lay Geok. They are blessed with four beautiful children: Jonathan Joel Lim (Gift from God, our Lord), Angelina Zoey Lim (Messenger of God's Life) , Nicholas Noel Lim (Made victorious through the birth of Jesus Christ) and Annalisa Joni Lim (Favoured by our gracious and merciful God).
